The Cultural Heartbeat
of West Texas
The Ellen Noël Art Museum of the Permian Basin connects people with art by engaging our community through exhibitions, education, collections, and outreach.
Support the Capital Campaign
As a key cultural institution in Odessa and the broader Permian Basin, we aim to enhance the quality of life and the learning environment in our region. However, our growing community and expanding programs have outgrown our current facilities. To continue our mission and better serve the people of the Permian Basin, we are excited to announce a major renovation and expansion of our building.

My Ancestors’ Memories Become My Creative Instincts by Doylene H. Land
Doylene H. Land draws inspiration from the landscapes and personal artifacts that shape her story.
“Since my earliest memories, I’ve felt a comforting presence in stark horizons,” she shares. “That horizontal line provides a structure in which I satisfy my compulsion for detail—where elements of nature meet cherished everyday objects.”
