The Ellen Noël Art Museum is proud to be one of the first museums in the state to have a 3D Printing Studio. The studio includes three MakerBot replicator 2s as well as a MakerBot scanner. Classes, workshops and demonstrations are offered for both children and adults throughout the year. The museum was recently awarded its first NEA grant to research and develop tactile kits for visually impaired visitors. Funding for the 3D Printing Studio was given in part by the United Way of Odessa and from a private donor in honor of long time museum volunteer and board member,Liz Roberson.
